AdVal driving forward with e-learning implementation
AdVal Learning Solutions have signed an agreement with Volvo IT to develop an e-learning solution to introduce and communicate the business benefits of a Global Dealer System (GDS) software application for approximately 10,000 staff within Volvo Truck Corporation.
The e-learning programme will be initially developed in English and one other language. If successful, Volvo IT plan to localise the e-learning programme to suit the 18 countries and three continents in which GDS is used.
Peter Bonfield, managing director at AdVal Learning Solutions commented:
“Supporting this type of IT application rollout is something we're very familiar with. We're looking forward to the challenge of developing an e-learning solution that both communicates the benefits of the new GDS application as well as providing an overview of the new functionality that the application will provide to dealership staff.
Bonfield continued:
“The opportunity to continue our involvement in helping Volvo IT to carry out a front end analysis to ensure that the training requirements are properly scoped prior to development of the most appropriate full training implementation is something we very much welcome.
“This really does play to the strengths of AdVal, not just as a supplier of e-learning materials but as a leading learning solutions provider."
