Manchester’s iconic Corn Exchange
A spate of new business wins for professional support services provider, Regent Samsic includes the company’s appointment to provide cleaning to the portfolio of managing agents, BNP Paribas Real Estates.
Additionally, the Coventry-based company’s first major award from commercial property and real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield is for the multi-service delivery to the recently refurbished food outlets at the iconic Corn Exchange in Manchester.
Says Regent Samsic director, John Critchell: “We were appointed to handle this prestigious business by evidencing our success delivering some innovative solutions in cleaning, security and concierge services at the site. It’s a great environment to work in and we are all delighted at our progress on-site.”
In addition, Regent Samsic’s relationship with Facilities management companies continues to develop, with the recent appointment by Mace Macro of Regent Samsic to clean for clients VW Financial Services’ premises in Milton Keynes, as well as partnering on a Lafarge Tarmac site in the Midlands to deliver security services.
Critchell sees the company’s rebranding to a multiservice provider paying dividends elsewhere such as its award of a multi-service contract for the head office of Britain’s largest retailer of flooring and beds, Carpetright.
The contract – the first in a new joint venture with Olive Catering – provides catering, cleaning and security to Carpetright’s premises in Purfleet, Essex.

Regent Samsic sees the year close with the award of a number of sites nationally and in London under the management of BNP Paribas Real Estates.
Says Critchell: “This is the culmination of a lot of work developing a relationship with BNP Paribas Real Estates, a major client of Samsic in France for numerous years.
“While that relationship certainly helped open the door for us in the UK, it was ultimately down to our own team to convince the company that we could deliver a quality, innovative, value for money service this side of the Channel.”
