takes UV LED light engines to the medical, industrial and Nano-technology
markets
UK-based LED ultra-violet (UV)
curing innovator Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) www.uvintegration.com has
embarked on brand extension outside its core digital inkjet printing market
with the appointment of a new distributor for Japan.
Sensor laser parts specialist Fine Sensing Corporation has been appointed as
ITL’s Japan distributor for non printing markets.
Established in Funabashi in June 2008, FineSensing Corporation is the most
recently formed division of ADSTEC Corporation, a major distributor of
industrial and scientific cameras, frame grabbers, lenses, software and
related imaging equipment to a growing customer base within the medical,
science and security industries.
Welcoming Fine Sensing Corporation to the ITL distributor community, ITL
managing director Adrian Lockwood said:
"Our expertise in developing more powerful, smaller UV light sources brings
clear potential for ITL in other industries utilising UV technology such as
inspection, automotive, medical device and electronics.

Photovoltaic (PV) solutions developers within the solar cell energy market
were successfully introduced to the latest in LED UV curing solutions by
Fine Sensing Corporation at March’s PV Expo 2010 show at Tokyo’s Big Sight
venue.
Fine Sensing was one of 570 exhibitors at the show covering all kinds of
products and technologies ranging from solar cell/modules to PV systems and
system integration.
The company showcased a tandem solar cell tester based on its patented
optics technology together with UV products in the form of ITL’s LEDZero
Solidcure emitter, aimed at the increasingly popular solution for applying
UV cured adhesives and encpasulation within solar cell panel assembly.
Said Fine Sensing Corporation director, Yasuki Karita:
"ITL products were very well received at this event. Many process engineers
attending are interested in high power UV-LED light sources and ITL has a
clear advantage in supplying both high power UV-LED and UV ultra compact
arc-lamps to market."
ITL UV curing products will also be shown by Fine Sensing at the Nanoinprint
Technology Show, April 14-16th at Big Sight, Japan
ITL’s digital inkjet printing customer base in Japan continues to be
serviced by Neopt in Kawasaki, the opto-electronics arm of the highly
respected Japanese multinational NOK Corporation.
