DRUPA 2008 - Düsseldorf
does it for ITL
A metaphor for how small can be beautiful was exemplified to visitors to
June's DRUPA global printing industry event in Düsseldorf when
Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) showed its new miniature high output UV
LED Solidcure's curing solution for inkjet printer applications.
Held every four years, DRUPA is the shop window for new concepts in
printing applications.
With its compact size and ultra-light weight, yet high intensity output,
Solidcure's was a quick draw to the ITL stand.
Commenting after the show, ITL managing director Adrian Lockwood said:
"Visitors were impressed by the output to size ratio of this latest
solution.
"Additional factors such as the product's scalability to suit a range of
applications, the variability of UV emissions enabling a precise match to
ink chemistry, and the highly effective coolant system also weighed
heavily in our favour. It's been a great show."
DRUPA represents the major showground for the printing industry and takes
place every four years.
Delegates include influential figures from the biggest names in the
world-wide printing sector such as Xerox, Agfa, Canon, Hewlett Packard,
Epson and Kodak; the show accommodates more than 2000 exhibiting
companies from within the industry and this year hosted over 200,000
visitors during the first week alone.
ITL will be back with more innovative developments at DRUPA 2012.
