ITL reveals regional strengths at launch of IMI Asia Digital

UK-based UV solutions developer Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) was a key participant at a first-ever forum bringing together leading industrial inkjet and digital technology suppliers with key customers in the China and Asia Pacific sector.

With representation already well-established in China, Korea and Japan, ITL is at the vanguard of technologists growing share within the region.

IMI Asia’s Industrial Digital Showcase and Inkjet Academy Asia 2014 (Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Kowloon, Hong Kong, January 13-14th 2014) measured the sector’s fast-growing interest in advancing digital technology.

ITL managers from across the region attended the event, where ITL China Business Development Manager, Sam Yang presented a Technology Showcase on LED developments as well as a supplier presentation on the latest product lines from ITL.

The world’s leading supplier of UV sources for digital ink jet applications, the company offers a wide range of compact and light weight UV arc products in addition to cutting edge, solid state UV LED systems and bespoke design partnerships for inkjet developers.

Says Sam: “Many developers in the Asia region are considering the adoption of inkjet into their businesses. Applications are fast-growing, particularly in light of the huge success of inkjet witnessed in the China ceramics market.

“This event provided an important platform linking developers in the Asia region considering the adoption of inkjet into their business, with businesses like ITL working at the forefront of manufacturing integration.”

Working with Sam at the event were Lewis Jun, Business Development Manager ITL Korea and Yasushi Katsuta, Business Development Manager, ITL Japan.

Says Yasushi: “Given its process advantages, system cost, and print resolution quality, UV inkjet was highlighted as one of the major growth in this region. Sam’s presentation was particularly effective in helping delegates understand latest trends in UV curing systems and the advances being made developing the latest high power UV-LEDs.”
