Prochem Europe wins
exclusive Scotchgard™ UK distribution
Cleaning systems specialist, Prochem Europe has been selected as
exclusive distributor for one of the sector’s best-known carpet
protection treatment brands, Scotchgard™.
3M’s new Scotchgard™ Carpet Protector Concentrate, TM2401, is now
exclusively available from Prochem Europe’s 380 distributors throughout
the UK.
Prochem was chosen to distribute and market the new protector on the
grounds of its distribution and brand specialisation.

Scotchgard™ Carpet Protector is an all-new technology product with
enhanced performance characteristics.
A liquid, diluted with four parts of water to form a protective treatment
on carpet fibres, the protector can be applied to most types of carpeting
with equal success on new or freshly cleaned carpet that is dry or damp.
It provides a barrier to resist soil and make spot-cleaning of most
stains easy with conventional techniques.
Scotchgard™ Carpet Protector is packaged in new style 3.78 litre
containers in an outer case of 4 x 3.78 litres and each product container
is supplied with a comprehensive user application guide.
The product is competitively priced and each 3.78L container will provide
enough protector to cover approximately 1000 sq ft (93 sq m) of carpet.

A privately owned company founded in 1974, Prochem Europe manufactures an
extensive range of specially developed carpet, fabric, floor and hard
surface cleaning chemicals, which are supplied through a network of
selected authorised distributors, together with a range of carpet and
upholstery cleaning machines and accessories.
Prochem supports its product ranges with a series of fully comprehensive
training courses in the correct operation and use of both equipment and

Chessington in Surrey and at selected courses in the UK regions.
