Regent Cleaning grows by £2m in last half year
Regent Cleaning has announced new and renewed contract gains valued at
over £2m in the last half of 2008.
Healthcare division business gains include the extension of the
fast-growing company's contract to clean premises in the Midlands and
south of England operated by the NHSBT (National Blood Service). Regent
cleans a total of 57 NHBST sites including Europe's largest blood
processing centre at Filton.
The company's education division has secured contracts to clean at the
University of Western England, Manchester University and continue with
the Open University complex at Milton Keynes. The company's contract with
Matthew Boulton College in Birmingham has been tripled in size with the
merger of Sutton Coldfied College. Retail contracts include the IKEA
store in Cardiff which has just been secured for a further term.

Public sector division contracts include the expansion of Regent's work
for the Ministry of Justice to include all Courts in the Midlands and
south west of England while further local authority contract wins have
been secured with New Forest District Council and Wychaven District
Council.
The company has also recently won the contract to clean offices and toll
booths at the Severn Bridges.
Regent Cleaning's market share and geographical reach were boosted last
year with its acquisition of Exclusive Support Services.
Founded in 1994, Birmingham-based Exclusive Support Services also has
offices in London and Manchester.
The deal boosts staffing levels to 4,500 and sales turnover to over £26m
at Regent, itself acquired last year by France's second largest cleaning
company, 1.3 billion Euro turnover Samsic Group.
