REGENT NEWSRegent opens National Training Centre Contract cleaning services provider, Regent Cleaning Services has opened a National Training Centre at its new Coventry offices. Regent, which employees 2000 personnel out of 10 UK offices, has also recruited Bozena Wojciechowska as National Training Manager. Bozena joins Haslemere, Surrey-based Regent from Initial Cleaning Services, where she was a regional personnel & training officer. She previously held a management position at leisure plc, Welcome Break. The Regent Management Training Centre features state-of-the-art presentation and support systems. "It's a perfect environment for learning and knowledge sharing," says Bozena. "We have great people in Regent with a lot of experience - we want to open up their knowledge for others in the organisation to tap into and share." Training courses at the Centre cover all aspects of management training and development including important HR and health and safety issues and ensure that all personnel, from managers to mobile cleaners, share in the practical aspects of cleaning. Courses, from hard floor and carpet cleaning, are provided by product suppliers to market including Berncastle and Texatherm. Regent is a fast-growing company. The Financial Mail on Sunday (July 6 2001), cited it as being the UK's top out-sourced business services company with a 66% compound growth in profit over the past three years. 2002 sees Regent launching a transport cleaning division. The company is an established provider of cleaning in commercial and public sector markets. Regent Sales and Marketing Director, John Critchell commented: "One of our aims for 2002 is to further develop the skills and knowledge of our management in order to place the company in the forefront of the industry.
