Fast growing Regent Cleaning packs on further contract gains
One of the UK's fastest-growing national contract cleaning providers,
Regent Cleaning has boosted turnover by £4m in the first half of 2010 to
£26m with business gains spanning leisure, local authority and
commercial applications.
New retail business includes Regent's third store win for furnishings
giant IKEA; Regent is now cleaning IKEA's store in Bristol as well as
its sites Cardiff and Croydon.
Regent's Education portfolio has been expanded with successful
re-tendering for its contract to clean City College, Coventry and a new
contract gain at Selly Park Technology College in Birmingham where this
month Regent celebrated with client Birmingham Metropolitan College the
college being overall winner of the prestigious 2009/2010 Building
Cleanability Award made by cleaning industry Livery Company - The
Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners.
The British Cleaning Council was once again the principal Patron of the
2009/2010 Awards scheme and the two leading building design professional
bodies - RIBA (Royal British Institute of Architects), and CIAT
(Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists), also provided
promotional support to their respective members for the scheme.
Further local authority business secured by Coventry-based Regent
Cleaning, which operates from 10 regional support offices, includes
cleaning at Hertfordshire County Hall.
Meanwhile, the company has added Nottingham prison to its custodial
client base which also includes detention centres in Leicester and
Haslar Immigration Removal Centre.
