REGENT NEWSRegent launches transport cleaning division Cleaning services provider Regent has launched a new division to manage its growing portfolio of transport industry accounts This latest initiative from the company meets growing market demand for quality care of trains, bus's and transport terminals and stations, to be matched with the same high standard of service provided to Regent's established customer base. Regent's commitment to this market is measured also by its HR investment in mid and board management personnel recruited from the Transport Cleaning Divisions of major international contracting companies. These individuals bring to Regent expertise in managing the cleaning of major railway stations (including Victoria, Gatwick, and Glasgow) as well as TOC operated stations and depots, and London Underground rolling stock and depots. The Regent Transport Division is to be run by newly-appointed Divisional Manager, Hugh Scott, who has joined Regent from Initial Cleaning Services, where he was Regional Director. Hugh was formerly with contract cleaning provider, Pall Mall. Hugh Scott reports to Regent Sales and Marketing Director, John Critchell, who himself joined Regent in 2000 from ISS Transport Services Ltd where he was Operations Director.
The Regent Transport Cleaning Division will provide contract cleaning services to UK road and rail transport providers. Recent client wins included London bus operator, Metroline, as well as some train cleaning for a major Train Operating Company. Regent has recently qualified as an approved supplier to London Buses, as well as being approved by Link-Up Supply Chain Services the rail industry supply organisation, for train, depot and station cleaning. John Critchell said: "The transport sector offers considerable potential for experienced cleaning contractors. Regent is matching customer expectation with demonstrable expertise and from a standing start we have already gained over £ ½ million in business. We anticipate this sector of our business to grow by as much as 400% over the next twelve months." REGENT CLEANING SERVICES | News | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | PMPR Home |
