Regent centre stage in 2012 Q1 new business gains
First quarter new business gains for Regent Samsic reveal the
diversity of the company's experience in the UK cleaning and
security sectors, both individually and combined.
New sites on the company's books include one of Europe's leading
centres for the contemporary arts. At the heart of Bristol's harbor
side, the Arnolfini (pictured) houses exhibitions, art galleries,
live art, music and dance events, poetry and book readings, talks,
lectures and cinema.
Bush House, a former warehouse on the city waterfront first occupied
by the theatre in 1975, was refurbished and redeveloped in 1989 and
2005. It reached a new audience in April 2010 when it was chosen to
host one of the three General Election Debates.
Regent, which has extensive experience of leisure and related public
space cleaning, is also cleaning the centre's specialist art
bookshop and café bar.
Bristol's Porcelanosa showroom is one of 21 similar premises
nationwide being cleaned by Regent since the Spanish
tiles-to-furniture giant appointed the contractor in March this year
to ensure its UK showrooms reflect the company's top quality brand
positioning. Regent wins the business on the back of multiple retail
and commercial site expertise.
The Cleaning division has retained its contract with Wiltshire Fire
and Rescue and added Avon Fire and Rescue to its roster, while
Regent Cleaning and Regent Security have also won a contract to
supply a bundled solution for Eaton Ltd. The US-based company
supplies automotive, vehicle and engine manufacturer with
high-quality parts, systems and services.
"It's very promising to find market perception of our strengths
translating into business development in a challenging economy and
to see that we clearly can bring added value in the integration of
our service offers," says Regent Samsic joint managing director,
