REGENT NEWSWood floor division from Regent A national resource for the cleaning, maintenance and renovation of wood flooring has been launched by cleaning contractor, Regent. The Surrey-based company operates in commercial, public sector, education, leisure cleaning and last year entered the transport market. It's latest Division is to be headed by Chris Mitchell, who brings over 20 years experience in wood floor maintenance to fast-growing Regent.
Commented Regent sales and marketing director John Critchell: "The provision of specialist care for wood floor has not grown apace with the rate of application of wood flooring in the UK. There is a clear demand for a national service that is focussed on this medium alone and we are in a position to meet it." The new division services include sanding and re-sealing; restoration and cleaning, relining; and the provision of consultancy on repair and replacement. Regent is the UK's 43rd largest contract cleaning company and the 8th more profitable (source: Plimsoll Publishing). The company fields 2000 cleaning operatives in the UK supported by 11 regional offices.
