London conference centre expands with VERCO
Three years after a major
fit out using VERCO office furniture, National Housing Federation (NHF)
has opened a new facility for members and other business users at its
successful central London conference centre, Lion Court.
This latest development
sees the NHF's 100-strong workforce moving into two floors of the
five-storey building, leaving a further one for the Conference Centre
while the new Leadership Lounge occupies the entire fifth (top) floor.
The Lounge offers five
meeting rooms for two up to 16 delegates and a spacious and modern break
out area with dramatic views of the London skyline, available for evening
canapé receptions and breakfast briefings.
It affords the exclusive
use of a stylish, contemporary and comfortable central London venue, with
free Wi-Fi broadband access; video conferencing; printing and
photocopying facilities; and catering facilities.
"We've had a strong and very positive response to the Centre since we
opened it," says facility manager Lallita Paul.
"The Lounge expands our offer to existing users as well as broadening the
appeal of the Centre to SMEs looking for a more intimate venue to meet
and network with customers and colleagues here in the West End."

VERCO furniture, the NHF has again specified furniture needs from its

The Lounge's principal
break out area features seating from VERCO's Milano upholstery range,
fitted with writing tables for lap top users, and matching coffee tables,
while meetings rooms deploy Profile operators chairs, Oblique bench
desking and VERCO tilt-top tables for the benefit of users.
Staff on the lower floors
are equipped with 1600 x 900mm deep double wave Visual beam desks in
maple with silver legs and modesty screens.
The Lion Court Centre's 12
conference and meeting rooms for up to 200 delegates at any one time are
equipped with VERCO Axxa seating and Visual meeting tables in circular,
oval and rectangular shapes, while its reception area provides visitors a
stylish welcome with Plaza and Roma upholstery.
